BOM #2

Judy has done it again! Made a beautiful block and shared it with us. Here is block number 2 from Patchwork Times Block of the month. I was not quite sure I wanted to miter the corners, but the mitered blocks I looked at were so nice. I think it makes a difference. It was not too hard although I did pull out the Quilters Ultimate Visual Guide for assistance. I am really looking foward to the next block. Thanks Judy.

Good job! Thanks so much for digging out a resource and learning to do the mitered corners. We all need to push ourselves sometimes to learn something new.

Tamara, I still love your fabric choices - it absolutely glows! I've just about decided to just do this whole quilt in the 30's reproductions but can definitely see myself making another in those original fabric choices. And everytime I look at your blocks, I want to make it NOW! LOL

This is Monday and I had left a note on your blog...I got mine #2 block done and posted last night but forgot who referred to Ultimate Visual Guide...thanks so much it was very helpful to at least wrap my brain around the 'how to' and I was able to do it a little different but it worked great...had never done it before..thanks...I did a close up of yours and love the gold background with the swirls...it is a nice touch to the rest...
