Quilt Retreat Double Delight

Well almost a quilt retreat. I was at home all weekend working on the Double Delight Mystery quilt at Quiltville.com. I did get out some. Saturday there were 2 basketball games. The season opener for Nicole and Kevin. Alea won't start until next weekend. I took DS#1 and his friends to the movies and picked them up.

Today was a wonderful day of worship at church.

Those were all the activities not related quilting. My Butt is sore and my back is a little tired but I have all the steps up to date. I have to work this week so my progress will slow.

130 Step 3:

30 Step 4:

20 Step 5:

And for the possible lay out. (I say possible because Bonnie hasn't told us what to do next. I don't think there are any more blocks so what else could it be?).....

I am so pleased with how it is turning out.

wow!! I love it! for the lay out, I put my blocks straight and not on point like you did, and it looks great too! We'll have to wait to see what Bonnie had in mind! It will surely be a nice quilt!

Popped over from Quiltville Chat to check out your blocks. Fabulous! That lay out is perfect, sure hope you are right.

Quilt looks good. We'll see if Bonnie H. lays it out this way. Are they 12" finished size? I want to do the blocks but I don't want a huge quilt... just curious.

Wow...looks great! I happened by your blog after reading your message on the Quiltville Yahoo group. I see you are from Sonora...I'm originally from Arnold, CA. We spent a lot of time in Sonora for shopping, movies, etc. :) Good too see someone from "home." :)

Oh my dear, I gasped with pleasure when the page opened, to see how lovely your quilt has turned out! I had every confidence the mystery would end up great, but yours surpasses my expectations!

I am finishing up (trimming) Step 2, but having to take breaks due to getting 'stove up'! LOL

Just gorgeous! I can't believe how quickly you got this all put together! I sewed myself silly and still didn't get caught up. It really looks terrific. I love the way the colors work together!

I love how it is turning out. I haven't started this mystery but am going on a mystery retreat this weekend and can only focus on one mystery at a time.

By the way, your steno book is packed up for the mail tomorrow.

Oh, it looks so wonderful! Here I was just saying I wanted to challenge myself more and I wimped out on a little math! How pathetic is that. I knew once I saw your progress I would regret that move.

It's WONDERFUL!
Cheers,
