Here is Judy's block of the month. This is number 8. I really like this one, I think it's the blue I like. I had to reprint my pattern to get a true 3 inch template. I guess I was just afraid to paper piece. I am looking forward to the next one. Hopefully I will get it done a little sooner.

Christmas Idea and a Couple of Tops.
Here is a Christmas gift idea you can suggest for the buyer of gifts for a quilter. Here is a pendant that my DH and DD bought for me last Christmas. I just love it. They got it at a small shop in Historic Downtown Sonora named Stone Ground. Here is their site and they do a great Internet business.
I took my kids to my Moms this weekend. We have 3 days to ourselves. Have already been out to dinner 2 times. My DH is a fabulous cook and likes to but there is something about going out to dinner without correcting someones table manners or handing out quarters for the machines at the pizza parlour.
My Mom and I got to sew a little(Yes Dionne, It is nice to sew with my mom). I put together wonkylogs a tutorial from TallGrass Prarie Studio. I think I am going to make it bigger with another 8.
She finished up her triangle logs top. I offered to quilt it for her if I could hang it in my office for a while before I gave it back to her. I don't think it will take too long. I just have to do it.

Well here is the latest on the Quilt Shack. The trim is up on both ends. While the weather is unseasonably warm DH decided to work on the outside. We cleaned up the old walk way and 8 years of oak leaves. I have to realize it does make sense but I would rather he get the inside done so I can move in. Oh well, patience my dear Watson. I know the laundry room will look a lot better when I get my stash out of there. Maybe DH knows that he will never see me once it is completed.

New Cards
I haven't sewn anything in 2 weeks. I am going sew crazy. I have been studying and redesigning my business. I designed some new business cards. I placed the order last night, I hope you don't find any typos. I liked this template because it reminded me of a quilt I can construct and display in my waiting room. I am really on a roll with this one!

Middle of November....
Rosemary Eichorn was our guest at the guild meeting this week. Here she is doing "show and tell" for a quilt she made her new grandson.
Rosemary makes beautiful quilted jackets and vests. We had a fashion show.
Here is Barbara and yours truly, modeling her clothing.
This is Chris with another original design.
I went to a Neuroimmunology seminar over the weekend and it was fabulous. I am really enjoying what I learned in the class and am applying it to my patient's care. Really fun, I have a new fire in my practice. Check out my other blog http://tamaralunddc.blogspot.com/ I started this blog a while ago but was not inspired to keep it up. It couldn't be as fun as quilting and my kids. But if you are interested in health topics related to what is going on in my office please stop by.
Here is my friend Mikel and The Root brothers, Heath and Aaron. We are all graduates of the Carrick Institute of Clinical Neurology. Mikel has a successful practice in Fresno Ca. Aaron and Heath practice in San Antonio TX.
Then with camera in hand I took photos at the seminar. It is pretty rude to take flash photography during the presentation and the photos of the crowd were pretty uninteresting. But I am glad to show you what was keeping me fueled up. Water and a grapefruit. Food gets really boring when you are at a nutritional seminar for doctors. Hardly anyone touched the candy dishes; I would have if the paper didn't crumple so loudly!
Lunchtime at the Chinese restaurant. I love the way the sun made the colors glow. This last picture were inspired by Chris at Pink Picket Fence.
The pictures she posts on her blog are always so wonderfully artsy. I am trying to have more of an eye.
No progress on the quilt shack. Sigh.

Children
Pizza party and Soccer awards! Here is Alea and her soccer coach Dave. By the way he was elected to the school board this week. GO DAVE! He had lots of nice things to say about my precious darling.
Here is a regular day at the Lund household. The boys got new sweat shirts. They slept in them and put them right back on in this am. It was cold this am 42 degrees they wanted to walk to the bus stop I guess to try out their keeping warm ability. They apparently failed because I got a text that they were cold and to pick them up. I know those of you in the Midwest are wondering what they are complaining about. Babies.
It was snack day for Kevin's class and guess who forgot? Yep me. I usually make chocolate chip pancakes on the morning of snack day. I had to go the store. Fortunately there is a market on the way. I picked up the babies and away we went.
I made them stop on the way out of the car for a photo op.

BOM #7, Weekend projects
Here is Judy Laquidara's BOM. I am really liking this project. The blocks are coming together nicely. Judy is very helpful on her website, Patchwork Times.
Here are the Girls after carving pumpkins. The Boys had something else to do. So they missed out.
The BOM at our guild this month is 54-50 or fight. I have always liked this block and it is on my to do someday list. Now is my opportunity. I am torn between turning them in and keeping them as a start to my own quilt.
MY DH had a laugh when he saw the refrigerator. He asked if these were my "A" projects, along with the spelling list. MY DM (Darling Mom) was visiting this weekend and here are our block projects for the rainy weekend.
