Not Pretty

Not Pretty but certainly Yummy! This cake is the first thing I made from a new cook book that a friend gave me. Gluten Free baking classics by Annalise G. Roberts

This is a lemon Layer cake with butter cream frosting. I love to bake but the problem is that I won't let it go to waste and I eat it all. I will leave it out today while I am at work and maybe the kids will eat it. DH can look at it all day and not even be tempted. Hummm something I aspire to.

Here are those pointy Geese. I am liking them better and better. I think I am going for shock factor in the quilt show. The application deadline is the end of the month so I better get going.

I have the same problem when attempting gluten free baking. Glad that it tasted good.

That is a lot of pointy piecing. Looking good.

I've saved a picture of your quilt in my inspiration folder. What a beautiful quilt! I just love what you've done with the colors and the underplayed quilting. Thanks for the eye candy.
