Little League
This weekend was opening day for Little League. This little lady means business.Watching intently? Not really, I asked him to pose.
Dutch Baby for breakfast. Recipe Here.
Dry wall guy is finished. I put on a coat of primer today. I picked the color thanks to a few suggestions from you, and you , and you, and you. Thank you, the color suggested was an overwhelming pale yellow. I bought Rice Wine from Dutch Boy. Looks like it will be completed soon, do I dare start planning?

Geese In The Forest
I started a long term project and it is called Geese in the Forest. It is a free BOM at Twittletails. It is paper pieced with freezer paper. They have a nice tutorial on their site. I put an icon in the sidebar that will take you there. I learned about it here at Tallgrass Prairie Studio.
This has been how i have been spending most of my time lately. DH got me a textbook that I have been longing for (sounds sick hu?). It is very useful and I get a lot of good information out of it. However it still has that textbook quality of inducing spontaneous sleep.
I went running around the other day and this was my companion. He was not sure why I had to pull over and take pictures of the Daffodils. He didn't quite get that it was so I can share with you all.

Some Things
The dry wall guy came today. Look how fast he works. I am starting to get excited. Now I wonder, which color to paint it, a pale yellow, tan, or boring off white? I figure I will decorate the walls with quilts so....
I did another one of Judy's blocks. I love the way these are turning out. In truth this project is making me a more precise piecer.
Hot tea anyone? This week there was yet another visit to my favorite Chinese restaurant. There is gluten in soy sauce so the folks here make the sauces without any just for me.

Thank You Dionne
One of my favorite blogs was having a give away, but not just any give away. Dionne at Sew Many Quilts gave away gifts to her followers. WOW, that is the kind of give away that I like. I did not have to do a thing but enjoy her blog daily. This gift was given with a thank you card too! I should be the one thanking her for the enjoyable reading. Pictured here is two pieces of Hawaiian fabric, one is a beautiful Batik, and a key chain and a shell necklace my kids are fighting over. Wow what a gift. Thank You Dionne.

Wires
I have wires! The electrician came yesterday and did his thing. He put 11 outlets in so I wont have a problem finding a plug-in when I want one. Next up insulation, dry wall, paint then floor. Heck, almost done.
We have been getting a lot of rain lately. Here is a creek that runs by my office. Once in a while it floods the park. Close but not this time.
Signs of Spring.
Everyone needs a little time to have Margaritas with a friend.

Award and a Green Day.
The other day Kevin had his basketball party. They were by far the best team in the league. I am not just saying that because I am the proud mother. The coach had to hold them back every game. They learned sportsmanship, humility and the fine art of passing. These boys will play together into high school.
I pulled out some green and started another Flea Market Fancy. This one is for a friend of mine that has been so patient. My thoughtful DD Nicole keeps reminding me I haven't made Lyndsy's quilt yet. We know green is her favorite color.
